That is so funny about the language! I would think that you would be good at Pilates. I think you can get a free month of the Peloton app if you would like it.
I just changed my ticket…I’m leaving on the 22nd, looks like they are inducing early at 38 weeks. I will be crossing the dateline so my birthday will not exist (the 23rd). Arrive the 24th 🙏🏻
I hope you continue on too! The Peloton app is good even if you don't have a treadmill or bike. It has stand alone classes - yoga, meditation, Pilates (not reformer obviously) strength training, body weight exercises too! The instructors are so motivating.
This is so exciting-the birth of your second grandson!! ♥
I didn’t realize, I thought you need to have the bike. The price of these Pilates, you’re right, classes is kind of ridiculous. I need it now and ayla is looking for classes for me in australia. During Covid I could exercise pretty much on my own but I know I am just too easy on my myself. It is too bad that there are no classes for beginners where I go. So I feel like I need extra attention (that’s when they start speaking English to me - not realizing it’s not a language issue, it’s a Pilates issue!!) and that other people in the class are annoyed. We’ll see how it goes 🙃
I knew my time in Israel was off when I no longer recognized the voices on the radio stations; when the names of the newscasters were new to me but not to anyone else; when the music I love became music everyone else loved. And yet...Israel is still SO much a home for me...and my kids!
Exactly - the newscasters! It’s home but man, it can be tough. I wasn’t prepared for the massive change in this country and/or the change in me. למען האמת I won’t feel I have a home until I can have a dog.
But I’m at Elkalai, having קפה שחור and it’s divine..xoxo
I took reformer Pilates for the past year and a half. I really enjoyed it but I gave it up over November and December and found that I didn't miss it and its high price. I now just use my Peloton app and still love it and all the different workouts. ☺☻♥
I hope I can stick to it - even when I’m off to Australia. Dramatic drop in my steps according to my phone since my Fitbit broke, obviously I need external push.
Ayla 35 weeks…I’m flying there Feb 4. I don’t have peloton. I wish
No that is not right! You get to celebrate TWO days! One in each place!!! Maybe your new grandson will be born on your birthday?!?!
