I just got back from Lechamim (Breads Bakery in NYC), a yummy place known for their babka. I bought a dozen chocolate hamentashen and gouda bread sticks.
Good for you! I am a huge believer in letting most emotional ‘incidents ‘ that really don’t concern me, just flow right past me, in fact I would say it’s my mantra. Helps keep me healthy❤️
Both of us were crying from your comment, Amy. We are so lucky to have you in our lives.
New blog coming today - the one thing that keeps me connected to my sense of self, my being. When health goes awry I get derailed and posts written weeks ago are tossed to the side.
Tonight we finish holocaust Memorial Day. Did you know my dad?
Anyway, hence the delay and thank you again for your feedback. 💕💜💕A
Anne- I just wanted to tell you I think of you and your family often. I absolutely love your reading your blog, seeing your pics, and hearing your opinion on so many things in life. And let me tell you, other's opinions are not something I often want to hear. But YOU share such real emotion, wisdom, kindness, acceptance and passion for life, yet with necessary boundaries. Your writing brings me to where you are, with your recollections-and it's always a beautiful journey. Thank you🫂
We are no longer in Wisco….but lots of midwestern friendly folx here in AZ. I value human warmth and friendliness…life is too brutal and short and humans can be needlessly cruel. Hey I was also thinking of you today in Substack land as someone was highlighting the “Auntie” collection of Aleah Chapin….I thought, that’s an Anna thing! Sending solidarity vibes in the struggles for the good of the cause. ✊ Peace from another Annabanananaaaaaaaa
So great to hear from you Ann! I will look up Aleah Chapin. Hope AZ is your happy place but glad you’re still connected to the old WI roots. Sending love and light. 💌
I loved the halvah hamantaschen I just had in Tel Aviv!
I heard your trip was great. Thank you for including a little of us on your journey!
