A "pet peeve" is a minor annoyance—one of those little things that shouldn’t bother you but absolutely do. The word peeve means irritation.
Why, when there is so much else wrong in the world (and with my health), am I thinking about pet peeves? It is a relief for my brain to be distracted by something. My list is a sign of life - a sign that I’m still noticing, involved, and reacting.
My curated list of everyday irritations:
1. When you tell someone about a good show and they ask “what’s it on?”
2. Using an airplane freebie toothbrush when you cannot find yours or it is charging.
3. When you have to click on ‘accept all cookies.’ Sure China, take my data. I do not care. Just let me read this article.
4. Being asked to record a video for someone’s birthday. Heartfelt sincerity on demand. My brother, dad and I made one for my niece:
5. "I’m not sick. It is just allergies.” Yeah, righ
6. People Who Call
7. Short-hand texting: “R U Free?”
8. "Wait, what is the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist?" It is spending a lot of time in a big building called a medical school.
What are your pet peeves? We all have a few.
Remember, I am still open 24/7 for all of your questions about absolutely anything at all, like always. All questions are anonymous. The way to learn, change, evolve and accept is through others. In sickness and in health.

I have two, one is people who sit in their cars while their car is running!
People who want to know my name and ask “What WAS your name?” Well back before I was married it was Leslie Woods, now it is Leslie Speed!!
I hate it when you tell someone that you liked a movie or a show, and they say “I heard it was good.” I’M telling you it’s good!!
